Spring Break - Life live kingsize

Every one thinks, they have a unique problem. This one was the first, I encountered. Senior Students of New York private schools, are really looking forward to the time after their SAT Exams. This time is appropriately termed spring break. Most NY Private Schools give vacations at that time, which helps the students to get away for vacations in exotic locales... like Bahamas and Mexico.

I have heard comments from the parents, school authorities on the pros and cons of such a break, a 17 yr old is bound to get into trouble under influence of liquor etc. What amuses me most, is one parents comment “A part of me thinks these kids get so much and are so entitled,” said Dr. Carlin Vickery, the mother of a Spence senior. “But the whole college process is so toxic you almost feel you want to do something nice for them.”

You & I may be tempted to say, "So What ?".

It really took me back down my childhood, and what I did when I finished my board exams, Leave aside, traveling, there was never a break. You are either preparing for Entrances or International Studies or scrounging for admissions into Local Universities. If you managed to find time to see a movie or attend a class farewell that was more of an exception. I could hear my Principal/Parents disapproving of those small breaks, that we tried to get...
